Saudi Craniofacial and Cleft Society (SCACS) aims to:
- Develop and activate scientific thinking in the field of craniofacial anomalies and cleft lip and palate.
- Achieve scientific communication between members of the society.
- Offer scientific consultations in the field of the specialty.
- Develop scientific and professional performance of members of the society.
- Facilitate the exchange of scientific ideas and publications within its area of interests between concerned agencies and institutions inside and outside Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Deepen the foundations ethical concepts and disseminate this culture among members and associates in magazines and medical journals and prepare ethical practice of the profession.
- Encouraging , supporting scientific research, publishing and development of scientific and therapeutic programs in the areas of interest.
- Organizing of scientific seminars, conferences and scientific meetings in order to exchange information and work on the upgrading of scientific programs.
- Provide scientific consulting in the areas of specialization of its members to those who request it within the Kingdom.
- Raise awareness and contribute to the psychological and social support for the patients.
- Support and encourage formation and translation of books and conduct scientific studies to develop aspects of the practice applied in the field of cleft lip and palate in general.
- Conduct Seminars , conferences ,scientific meetings , lectures and workshops with CME, which relate to areas of interest.
- Issuing studies, newsletters, magazines and scientific journals and pamphlets that relate to areas of interest.
- Participate in local and international exhibitions.
- Invite scholars and thinkers stakeholders to participate in the activities of the society, according to the Organization’s actions or board of director in this regard.
